The Water Bottle of the Future

BAYONIX® worked together with Ambros Huber to develop a drinking bottle made from a completely pollutant-free plastic – the first of its kind in the world. The company consistently adhered to the Cradle-to-Cradle® principle, which excludes any mixing of materials. This requirement meant that the bottle's seal had to be achieved without additional sealing components.

Since no existing injection molding parameters existed for the newly developed material, the team conducted extensive practical trials to develop suitable specifications. Interestingly, contrary to popular assumption, the plastic is not derived from renewable raw materials but is petroleum-based.

With Ambros Huber's technical know-how, BAYONIX®'s goal was successfully achieved – a remarkable joint success.
