AH has expanded its machinery with a new vertical injection molding machine with rotary table from manufacturer Engel: the 500V/100 rotary. The injection process takes place from above in a vertical orientation.
The rotary table features a double mold half (ejector side), so that inserts can be loaded on one side while injection takes place simultaneously on the other. This principle, combined with the rotary table concept, creates the foundation for an optimized workflow and thus shorter cycle times.
Currently, the loading of a turned part manufactured by AH is still done manually, as current quantities do not yet justify robot-assisted loading. However, the process can be switched to fully automated production at any time, as soon as demand requires it.
