Our A-Light S in South America

At the Complejo Solar in Oruro, Bolivia – supported by the Salzburg-based association Intersol e.V. – A-Light S kits are being assembled, with some photovoltaic modules also being manufactured on site. The initiative pursues several goals: imparting technical know-how around solar technology and electronics through practical assembly work, generating income through the sale of the lamps, and improving living conditions in rural regions without reliable power supply.

The exceptional brightness of the A-Light S improves the quality of life and work safety of people on site. The lithium-ion battery also avoids the waste generated by conventional or low-quality batteries. Radio operation and the ability to charge mobile phones with the A-Light S also help break down communication barriers.
